Thrifting

(Dress: Sold, Coat/Purse: Vintage, Socks: American Apparel, Shoes: Urban Outfitters)

This outfit inspires me to keep on thrifting. I still can't believe I bought this amazing vintage 60's leopard coat for only 15 bucks. 15 bucks is expensive for a thrift store but it was worth every penny. It was definitely one of those pieces that you often catch yourself staring at in awe, while in your closet a year later. Oddly enough, I actually like the 'thrift store smell' and the thrill of being the first one on the dollar rack on Wednesday morning. I don't mind the occasional strange people and I enjoy daydreaming in the home furniture section about future DIY projects. Who doesn't like to stretch their budget for clothing and home furnishings if they have the opportunity? That's what thrift stores are good for.

I am going on a quick getaway to San Diego this week so any recommendations of good thrift stores in the area would be greatly appreciated :)

xoxo,
Candice
