Its crazy how quickly the holidays flew by. And now its the new year. 2013 was a super busy (crazy) year but was overall a good one. I cant wait to see what 2014 has in store for us, the shop and myself.

Catching up on Instagram with Candice

Wow, I didn't notice that I was so behind on this Instagram post. I have photos from the beginning of September that I haven't shared with you on the blog. So much has happened in my life in the past few months that even I, haven't been able to keep up. My boyfriend and I are just recently getting settled into our new place after loosing Jack and weeks of construction caused by a neighbors flood, (that spilled into our home) shortly after. Its finally starting to feel like 'home' and I am so thankful for that. I am so ecstatic for the holidays to get here. I am looking forward to our family trip to San Francisco for Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas (which I already started doing.... Shhhh, don't tell anyone lol). There are so many more Instagrams to come....

Catching up with Candice on Instagram

I have been so busy that I just recognized recently that June and July are now gone. My two favorite months of the year because they mark the first and the middle of summer (such a bummer!). From work to family trips and so many birthdays (Vanessa, our mom, our nephew, my boyfriend and mine... I mean SO many), I haven't stopped going. Some of the things I am excited about right now include the new bike I got from my fella for my birthday and my growing collection of vintage pottery and photographs. As I was organizing my Instagram pics for this post I recognized that my iPhone pictures perfectly sum up my mood over the last few months.  I've been a total home body this Summer, as seen in all the pics of me just hanging out at home.  I'm not gonna to lie, it really is my favorite place to be.  But we do always manage to find time for the park and beach and afternoon cocktails with my sister, thats for sure! :) xo Vanessa

My iphone has captured a lot in the last few months. From family outings to pretty dresses and lunches with my business partners (Vanessa and Oliver of course), May and June have been such great months. I can't wait to see what July and August have in store for us. Summer is my favorite time of year :-)
