Can you believe the world this week?!?!? With all the crazy weather everywhere, we've been lucky here to have sunny skies and relative warmth. My father-in-law has been visiting from the frozen tundra (also known as Iowa). He came at the best time, the rain let up here and the sun was out and smiling with a pair of sunglasses on. John is already heading back to Iowa (sad face). I wish he could have stayed a bit longer but we were able to do a lot of fun things while he was here. Along with the usual sight seeing, we went on a whale watching cruise off the Dana Point coast. We were fortunate enough to see a pod of close to 500 dolphins... it was absolutely breathtaking!!!
