Feasting

How was everyone's weekend? Mine included tons of drinking and food stuffing. It isn't even Christmas and I already feel like I need to lay off of all the holiday treats. I can't help it but when I get together with my family there is no other way around it. I can't resist the yummy appetizers and great wine. This weekend, Vanessa had a small get together at her house. We called it a Christmas party just so we could dress up. We spend so many hours each week with our eyes glued to our computers in comfy clothes that we take advantage of any chance where we get to play dress up. We sipped on German wine, listened to Christmas music and stared at the Christmas tree. We finished the night playing the board game Aggravation, a game we played throughout our childhood. It took hours to finish because we had so many people playing and everyone kept killing each other off (once you play you really understand how the game got it's name). My parents are having a Christmas party this weekend and I know the feasting will only continue.
