(Vintage 70s Caftans: When Decades Collide, Turban: Spanish Moss, Wide Brimmed Floppy Hat: American Apparel, Sunglasses: Thrifted)

On our latest shopping trip for the store, we came across a small collection of homemade goodies… a mod 60s mini dress in the most beautiful purple & silver metallic tapestry, an amazing 50s mini dress in the prettiest shade of peach as well as two fantastic 70s caftan dresses. After deciding that our next blog needed to include the caftans, we headed out to the beach to take some pictures. Unexpectedly, we had our camera on the wrong setting which made everything in the background stark white. Surprisingly though, the pictures turned out really cool. The pictures definitely have a psychedelic feel to them.

The caftans were so versatile and COMFORTABLE. They can even be worn as beach cover-ups. You can also wear these caftans for evening with just an easy change of accessories. You can dress them up with chunky bracelets, belts or necklaces. Team them w/ flat jeweled sandals or chunky wedge heels to balance out the volume. You can even do what Candice and I did… just wear your hair long and loose and pair them with this season’s ethnic turban or a floppy wide brimmed hat.

Vanessa
